in the center of any flame
is that little touch of blue...
to me, truman capote is one of the most intriguing characters of literature and film - i would love to have had the opportunity to sit down at dinner with him, perhaps to the light of a candle flame, with a little touch of blue....this is just one of his many quotes that i find so touching - and i hope you do -

i have always adored capote as well, tho his novels have chilled me to the bone...this is such a sweet little comment about the light...and that little bit of blue, how it's in every flame is something i have always noticed too...sigh..

That picture is amazing. Love the quote, too. He was a great writer.
Hi Jenean! Yes I like that quote of his.....aways thought he was making reference in that quote, the undelining mellancholy he had in his life...it would have been facinating to sit and have dinner with him and talk...but with caution..or he might tell your secrets in his next book!! :-)
