we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - following the path of the sun and the trail of the stars to worlds known and unknown from yesterday and today into tomorrow -
this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imagined and/or real - imaginedand/or real - a STREAMOFCONSCIOUSNESS telling of my own personal thoughts feelings experiences - interspersed with words and images of others - with things defined by most as PARAnormal which - for me - all my life - have been PERFECTLYnormal -
SO come along with me andwe'll danceamong the stars under the sun and over the moon - we'll share our stories around the campfire -together -
A...WOMAN
IN MOTION
WITH HAIR
AS DARK AS NIGHT
HER EYES
WERE LIKE THAT OF
A CAT
IN THE DARK...
SHE WAS A
GYPSYWOMAN...
she danced
round and round...
from the fire
her face was all aglow...
she was dancing...
dancing...
waiting for
the RISING SUN...
loving caring relationships are like THE RISING SUN...we are nourished by their warmth...we are energized by their strength...we grow in their light...we find shelter and solace there...they are our sanctuary...
born in the sign of the sun, i am a true LEO-love the sun and its hot orange red fire-passionate in and about everything i do-i believe in instant chemistry charisma love/lust at first sight-in the magic of the eyes and the beauty of the soul-in the instant recognition familiarity in meeting someone from a past life and in the knowledge that we might meet in a future life-i believe that we are each ageless and flawless-i believe in the beauty of the moment-the whisper of yesterday-the hope of tomorrow-the power of forgiveness for even ourselves-the absolute and total beauty of love---[credit to brian hyland and curtis mayfield]
Love Helen Caldicott - amazing woman. Yes, it is in our hands - unfortunately that includes savage hands. Those of us with gentle intent and gentle hands must make our touch felt!
Since my daughter gave birth to her first child she has become very concerned about food choices...which led her to the dilemma about plastics. I wasn't aware that it takes oil to make plastic. It's in everything we package our goods and foods with...and traces of it are in our bodies now. She found that even though we recycle...China has stacks of unused boxes of recycled plastic with no future need. So I guess my hand is in this...and I'm trying to limit what I buy and use that is in plastic in hopes of the further need for oil. I hope for a better future for all the children on this planet. Thanks for posting this.
so true about each of us having a hand in this - literally - every time our hand reaches out for a plastic bottle of water - or a plastic grocery bag - or a sandwich baggy - or any of the other 1000's of things on which we have come to rely every single day - thanks so much for coming over - wonderful to see you -
gabi - yes, our own responsibility is right up there with others - but we can change the way we live - surely we can - relinquishing our desire our demand for all those things that we buy thinking they will make our lives easier and faster and whatever else - and focusing on what's really important or none of anything will matter in the end - thanks so much for coming over!
and yes, roger, from louisiana to the amazon and back again - we have allowed greed and profit to turn our planet into a cemetery - and it is our responsibility to take control of our home again - to make it safe and healthy once again - so that we and all who come after us will have a home as well - i'm all for standing up, speaking up and acting out - it's time!
thanks so much for coming by and leaving a comment - and have a fabulous day!

Let's hope the savage hands become progressively fewer.

So true – we are responsible for whatever happens to our planet! We can’t run away from it or seat to wait till somebody else do something.
Great post

you're right bonnie - it's up to each of us - gently and intently - with great intent -
for sure, trish, as it's inconceivable what would happen with more hands -
