the gypsies' journey...

we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - following the path of the sun and the trail of the stars to worlds known and unknown from yesterday and today into tomorrow -

this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imagined and/or real -
imagined and/or real - a STREAMOFCONSCIOUSNESS telling of my own personal thoughts feelings experiences - interspersed with words and images of others - with things defined by most as PARAnormal which - for me - all my life - have been PERFECTLYnormal -

SO come along with me and we'll dance among the stars under the sun and over the moon - we'll share our stories around the campfire - together -

THE GYPSYWOMANWORLD

My photo
A...WOMAN IN MOTION WITH HAIR AS DARK AS NIGHT HER EYES WERE LIKE THAT OF A CAT IN THE DARK... SHE WAS A GYPSYWOMAN... she danced round and round... from the fire her face was all aglow... she was dancing... dancing... waiting for the RISING SUN... loving caring relationships are like THE RISING SUN...we are nourished by their warmth...we are energized by their strength...we grow in their light...we find shelter and solace there...they are our sanctuary... born in the sign of the sun, i am a true LEO-love the sun and its hot orange red fire-passionate in and about everything i do-i believe in instant chemistry charisma love/lust at first sight-in the magic of the eyes and the beauty of the soul-in the instant recognition familiarity in meeting someone from a past life and in the knowledge that we might meet in a future life-i believe that we are each ageless and flawless-i believe in the beauty of the moment-the whisper of yesterday-the hope of tomorrow-the power of forgiveness for even ourselves-the absolute and total beauty of love---[credit to brian hyland and curtis mayfield]

consciousness after death...

- in the light of the near-death experience,
death is nothing more than the illusion
of separateness and finality,

and those who can believe
in this vision of death,
like near-death
experiencers themselves,
lose all fear of it,
for how can you fear
that which
does not exist?
Dr. Ken Ring
i don't remember how we initially were put in touch with each other, but a number of years ago, i communicated with Ken Ring, PhD, who, at the time, was working on a book regarding near death out of body experiences - and i do remember our communications over that period of time as more than enlightening - in any event, i just came across a site of his for which i have placed a link in the right column of this blog - consciousness after death - great reading -

Thanks. I had read his book some years ago as NDE's were my passion for a time. I think the study of NDE's has opening many peoples eyes to possibilities they would never have considered, don't you?

Glad you stopped by my blog and commented - is this your main blog?

Wonderful post - thanks for sharing and very appropriate at this time, for me. I'm glad to be following your blogs. They are a great balance between my work and need for nurturing the creative spirit. I love that we've met through Synchronicity. :)

hi nancy - yes, i absolutely do think the look at NDE's by the scientific community has led to so much awareness that otherwise might not have come - especially because of the validation factor with empirical studies from recognized figures - in terms of my blogs, actually "gypsywomanworld" is the "mothership" from whence my others spun - this "traveljournal" focuses on metaphysical experiences and most recently, a spin-off from traveljournal is my "dreamjournal" where i want to chronicle all my dreams not just those of a "weird" nature so to speak :) - and the "words unspoken" is a journal of things "love-associated" - the yaya tree is my genealogical journal which, for years, i have promised my children that i would condense to "paper" for them - so, feel free to drop by any or all anytime - and most of all, as you know, comments are such a welcome addition so drop a note whenever something moves you - and have a wonderful day! thanks so much for coming by and leaving a note! jenean

oh, nancy, i meant to ask whether you've had any NDEs - many years ago i did - at a time when there had been no real empirical studies and when such things were totally disregarded as hallucinations or whatever suffered by us deranged weirdo's - and they were not spoken of in most circles, if ever - so i kept mine to myself for years and years - but no longer - and i'll soon be posting it in my travel journal -

hi terri - thanks so much for such a sweet note - it's always such a thrill to know that not only is someone actually reading what you post, but that they appreciate it and, even more especially, that it has touched them in some way - what a gift! thank you! and i so know what you mean about nurturing our creative spirit!!! in the midst of children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and the work world and just daily existence, it is sometimes so difficult to find that little corner where our own individual creativity can express itself - however, i must say that by far, my children are my greatest creations - now i'm trying to re-capture the creative me of long ago that painted and sculpted and photographed and wrote and...........you know the rest of the story :) - thanks so much for coming by and leaving me a note - and do come again and perhaps we'll sit outside in the shade and have a glass of iced tea! till then - jenean
