totem walk me soft
take me down that path
far from sin's own wrath
take me by the hand
lead me through the sands
take me now through time
tell me you are mine
take me by my heart
play me like mozart
totem walk me soft
fly me far aloft
totem walk
me
soft
take me down that path
far from sin's own wrath
take me by the hand
lead me through the sands
take me now through time
tell me you are mine
take me by my heart
play me like mozart
totem walk me soft
fly me far aloft
totem walk
me
soft

this little piece came about as i was browsing images which i felt reflected new beginnings - when i saw this beautiful painting of emily carr i knew it was the "one" for today's post - a visual journey through this life into the next life [well, to me, anyway] - or one's journey through love - and/or both - and/or neither - it's up to you what you see and hear here - in any event, while i sat wandering through this magnificent forest, these are the words that came from the forest voices! enjoy!
Oh I have sooo missed my visits here..to listen to your beautiful words! I wish you Love, Health and Happiness in the new year 2011...it left me with a BANG..
xoxo Marlene

Happy New Year Jenean.
I think your philosophy on life is an inspiration to us all.
May you forever watch the peach blossom glide down the mountain stream.
You are a living work of art. It is fun to see how the passion for living simply gushes from you.
Happy New Year Jean!
Hi Gypsy
I like that painting very much. Funny thing is, last Wednesday I visited the Royal Ontario Museum with my Dad and there are four HUGE totem poles there. Beautifully carved pieces from the Nisga’a and Haida peoples of Canada’s Pacific Northwest Coast.

thanks so much trish - you know, this painting reminds me of you somehow - i mean, REALLY reminds me of you!
Really? How cool. But in what way??? I'm lost in a forest?? No, tell me not that.
oh, no, not that, trish!!! too funny!!! ;)
i think the totems themselves - ancient spirits guides along the way -
