the gypsies' journey...

we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - following the path of the sun and the trail of the stars to worlds known and unknown from yesterday and today into tomorrow -

this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imagined and/or real -
imagined and/or real - a STREAMOFCONSCIOUSNESS telling of my own personal thoughts feelings experiences - interspersed with words and images of others - with things defined by most as PARAnormal which - for me - all my life - have been PERFECTLYnormal -

SO come along with me and we'll dance among the stars under the sun and over the moon - we'll share our stories around the campfire - together -

THE GYPSYWOMANWORLD

A...WOMAN IN MOTION WITH HAIR AS DARK AS NIGHT HER EYES WERE LIKE THAT OF A CAT IN THE DARK... SHE WAS A GYPSYWOMAN... she danced round and round... from the fire her face was all aglow... she was dancing... dancing... waiting for the RISING SUN... loving caring relationships are like THE RISING SUN...we are nourished by their warmth...we are energized by their strength...we grow in their light...we find shelter and solace there...they are our sanctuary... born in the sign of the sun, i am a true LEO-love the sun and its hot orange red fire-passionate in and about everything i do-i believe in instant chemistry charisma love/lust at first sight-in the magic of the eyes and the beauty of the soul-in the instant recognition familiarity in meeting someone from a past life and in the knowledge that we might meet in a future life-i believe that we are each ageless and flawless-i believe in the beauty of the moment-the whisper of yesterday-the hope of tomorrow-the power of forgiveness for even ourselves-the absolute and total beauty of love---[credit to brian hyland and curtis mayfield]

to still the earth...

There is no drop of water in the ocean,
not even in the deepest parts of the abyss,
that does not know and respond
to the mysterious forces
that create the tide.

The current vogue for poisons has failed utterly to take into account these most fundamental considerations. As crude a weapon as the cave man's club, the chemical barrage has been hurled against the fabric of life a fabric on the one hand delicate and destructible, on the other miraculously tough and resilient, and capable of striking back in unexpected ways.

These extraordinary capacities of life have been ignored by the practitioners of chemical control who have brought to their task no high-minded orientation, no humility before the vast forces with which they tamper.

These sprays, dusts, and aerosols are now applied almost universally to farms, gardens, forests, and homes-nonselective chemicals that have the power to kill every insect, the "good" and the "bad," to still the song of birds and the leaping of fish in the streams, to coat the leaves with a deadly film, and to linger on in soil-all this though the intended target may be only a few weeds or insects.

Can anyone believe it is possible to lay down such a barrage of poisons on the surface of the earth without making it unfit for all life?

They should not be called "insecticides," but "biocides."

Poisons are everywhere...I can't even delve into why there was a global flockicide--when 1000's of birds fell for no reason from the sky; Buffalo, NY Sweden...we don't want to know what is going on, Earth is close to unfit for all now..this is too negative...WE NEED BIOCIDES NOW!! BTW Gypsywoman--my blog, which you follow, has had an address change. Please note: for Art and Reflective Writing: http://www.mixthemedia247.blogspot.com I hope you'll stop by and comment soon so I know you're still with me!

I meant to write: WE NEED TO STOP BIOCIDES NOW!! But the problem is we have too many people on the planet so growing organically for everyone is not possible; its cost prohibitive...with every horrible problem in society---follow the money trail, its always money that is the demonic answer.

I absolutely could not agree more. I worry most about bees.

ditto ditto, pam! you are so very right - when i came across this carson quote i was unsure what image i wanted - somehow, a realistic image did not seem to fit - but then i remembered this miro - and it was just perfect in its color/symbolism -
