we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - following the path of the sun and the trail of the stars to worlds known and unknown from yesterday and today into tomorrow -
this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imagined and/or real - imaginedand/or real - a STREAMOFCONSCIOUSNESS telling of my own personal thoughts feelings experiences - interspersed with words and images of others - with things defined by most as PARAnormal which - for me - all my life - have been PERFECTLYnormal -
SO come along with me andwe'll danceamong the stars under the sun and over the moon - we'll share our stories around the campfire -together -
A...WOMAN
IN MOTION
WITH HAIR
AS DARK AS NIGHT
HER EYES
WERE LIKE THAT OF
A CAT
IN THE DARK...
SHE WAS A
GYPSYWOMAN...
she danced
round and round...
from the fire
her face was all aglow...
she was dancing...
dancing...
waiting for
the RISING SUN...
loving caring relationships are like THE RISING SUN...we are nourished by their warmth...we are energized by their strength...we grow in their light...we find shelter and solace there...they are our sanctuary...
born in the sign of the sun, i am a true LEO-love the sun and its hot orange red fire-passionate in and about everything i do-i believe in instant chemistry charisma love/lust at first sight-in the magic of the eyes and the beauty of the soul-in the instant recognition familiarity in meeting someone from a past life and in the knowledge that we might meet in a future life-i believe that we are each ageless and flawless-i believe in the beauty of the moment-the whisper of yesterday-the hope of tomorrow-the power of forgiveness for even ourselves-the absolute and total beauty of love---[credit to brian hyland and curtis mayfield]
Your poetry is very alive and I find you very interesting and unique, also wonderfully intriguing. You write so eloquently and as I read I catch myself just entranced and reading on and on and on. Very..very enlightening and soulful....and I feel as I am reading that if we all could dwelve deeper into ourselves we would see what is really out there and how to use those little voices and thoughts finding out what we were too afraid to confront.
steve - thank you for such a lovely comment - i very much appreciate your stopping by and leaving such a thoughtful message -
"if we all could dwelve deeper into ourselves we would see what is really out there and how to use those little voices and thoughts finding out what we were too afraid to confront"
the thing is, we CAN all delve deeper into ourselves to see what is really IN there - that's the part most feared, i think - the going INside -
and i'm curious, steve, as to why one chooses to communicate under the cloak of anonymity?
Hello there, Jenean. You write very compellingly with so much soul, and I've enjoyed the combination of art and words.
This particular piece touched a nerve as I've come to the conclusion (rather too late in life, I think) that persisting in delusion is a bad idea. My feeling is that this has been my greatest weakness in life, and the universe has taken steps to hit me over the head with that in the last few years. I think I'm finally "getting it."
I used to think I was wise, but I've come to realize that we have our blind spots. I think we try to show ourselves our own weaknesses through our works of creativity. And sometimes those reading/watching our works know us better than we know ourselves.
You are prolific and daring. I really enjoy your blogs.
dear christine - i've just left your site and have left there breathless - a beautifully poignant and tragic story of your brother - so remindful of my own brother and his very early death - the parallels of their lives are more than ironic - in any event, i do know only too well what you mean about the weakness in us in our continuing to dwell in the world of delusion -
thank you so much for coming by and taking the time to leave such a compelling and thought-provoking message for which i am truly grateful! and i hope you will come again, here and to my other blogs, often, should you be so inclined!
isn't this man's art (assuming it is his art) amazing?? as always, dear jenean, a wonderfully personal yet universal message...i would assume, given the tag, that sagan said it but am not sure as it does not sound like him...did he? xoxo

Yes, I agree Jenean, but sometimes it can be oh, so scary to do that.
It takes courage to be aware AND compassionate at the same time. xx♥
An eye-popping image! And love the message, as always.
