Humankind has not woven the web of life.
We are but one thread within it.
Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves.
All things are bound together.
All things connect.
We are but one thread within it.
Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves.
All things are bound together.
All things connect.

So deep, but yet so simple too. I wish more people believed in and took into consideration how our actions and decision influenced our world. I know sometimes it is hard to see beyond our own backyard, but how nice if we all tried!
P.S. I hope you don't mind that I have become a follower to several other blogs that I know you visit as well. It is hard to find good sites based on similar topics through the endless list under (interests) within Blogger. I respect your thoughts and therefore wanted to see other people who were following you, and what their sites were like. Since I started my second blog based on a mystical theme I am eager to see and learn from other like minded individuals. Thanks!
oh, please please, cole, do not give it a second thought - the following thing - i think it's wonderful that you found others through me that you enjoy! and i do the same thing - i'm sure we all do - when we find someone and their blog of interest to us, it's the natural thing to do - and i'm honored to be such an avenue! so, enjoy!!!
your presence and comments here are always appreciated - thanks so much!
Very nice post. Having been in my line of work for so long you begin to wonder if there is a higher power who has as much interest in things as some would say. But then I have to ask, "do we WANT that much influence? What about our own self determination?" It's a conundrum, to be sure. I've done a lot of studying on that subject! I guess I should land that plane at a destination some time soon, huh? (smile)
Indeed! :) ha lovely post! love the picture too, its fascinating!=]
It looks a bit like a brain... Very cool picture, and words worth repeating over and over and over...
good morning spuds - thanks so much for dropping by - in terms of my own plane, i landed it many many moons ago, as a child really - here, in what you find in my travel journal - for me, the path was always clear - but i was never the "conformity kid" and always colored OUTSIDE the lines - but we each have to land our own plane, don't we? ;)
isha - thanks much for coming over - and yes, i totally agree - all fascinating! come back soon!
