That which is part of
our souls is eternal. . .
Those lives are countless,
but the soul or spirit
that animates us throughout
these myriads of existences
is the same; and though
"the book and volume"
of the physical brain
may forget events
within the scope of one
terrestrial life, the bulk of
collective recollections
can never desert the
divine soul within us.
Its whispers may be too soft,
the sound of its words
too far off the plane
perceived by our physical senses;
yet the shadow of events that were,
just as much as the shadow
of the events that are to come,
is within its perceptive powers,
and is ever present before
its mind's eye." —

Do you think this is what da ja vue might be?
Whenever I have a da ja vue moment, I try in my mind's eye to look past the da ja vue experience and recall what will/might happen next.
All within the scope of the da ja vue moment I am then usually filled with an overall emotional feeling, be it happiness or sadness over what may follow.
Rather than an inner vision with a blow by blow description.
Unfortunately, I can only do this it seems when there is negativity that has occurred or will occur. It never seems to work when it is a joyous event that will follow the da ja vue.
Just wondering your thoughts.
Hope all is well.
Cole

I agree with Nancy. It does sound a lot like The Holographic Universe!
nancy and trish - gee!!! another note now to myself to grab that book!!! thanks for reminder! :)
yvonne - thanks so much for coming by - i've been over to your place a couple of times and am happily following along! come again soon - and often!
oh, hi, cole! you know, i think it certainly could very well be deja vue - i've had many experiences from earliest childhood where i knew i had been in that certain place with those certain people before, saying and doing those exact same things - but in my case, i don't remember associated negativity - my negativity-attached experiences have been more with precognitive dreams where i might "see" a plane crash or a ship sinking before it has actually happened - or sometimes, i have an ominous feeling about something - not actually in a dream form - and ultimately, there comes a very negative experience - now, in that case, i am not really sure if my own negativity is creating that ultimate experience which happens - or if i am picking up on a negative experience which is going to happen anyway -
does this make sense? i hope so - and hope you find it even a little clarifying, helpful? -
thanks so much for coming by with such thought-provoking comments! have a wonderful day!

Hello Guru, what entice you to post an article. This article was extremely interesting, especially since I was searching for thoughts on this subject last Thursday.
